Get To Know Me...

Hi, I’m Ashley! Firstly, I would like to commend you on taking a step. You are in the RIGHT PLACE at the RIGHT TIME! Counseling can be scary and in some experiences taboo (out of the norm). It can be difficult to share thoughts, feelings, experiences, and behaviors that you are not happy with or proud of. Based on your life experiences, some things are not a matter of good or bad, but rather a way to survive. Surviving is cool. But I want to partner with you so that you can thrive.

I am dedicated to creating a space of freedom. You are free to say, do, think, and be whomever or whatever. What come UP, let it come OUT. Even those thoughts that linger in the back of your head and you’re too embarrassed to say them to yourself. WE can explore it all in a safe and comfy space.

The passion to partner with you comes from the desire to meet you where you are and help you get to where you want to be. Counseling can be life changing and life can look different. Life can be fun. Life can be manageable. Life can be balanced. Life can be something to brag about! And I want to help you BRAG!

To provide additional comfort, know that partnering with me you will always have an individualized experience. I typically use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and or Motivational Interviewing (MI) as my therapeutic approach, however, to provide the best quality of care other therapeutic approaches may be used.

Getting to know me is an exciting and welcoming journey. I enjoy watching movies, listening to music, watching WNBA games (don’t ask me about my favorite team, we can discuss that later lol), spending time with family, and doing various creative projects. I am a person of the ARTS! So come on let’s create your future!
